Frequently Asked Questions

  • What if I can't make one of the days of camp?  No problem.  We do want to help develop a "responsibility" mindset within the athletes already in their lives.  However, we will completely and fully understand when a conflict arises and they can't be present.  No worries.

  • What is my child suppose to bring to the camp?   We ask that they wear athletic clothing, and a pair of outside shoes (cleats are acceptable, but not required).  The athletes will be given their camp baseball hat on the first day and are asked to wear it each day to camp.  They are required to bring their own glove and a water bottle or something to drink.  They are welcome to bring their own bat, although this is not a necessity as some will be provided for them to use.  The kids may bring their own helmet, however, this is also not required as we will have some for the kids to share.

  • Can I stay and watch?  Most certainly.  And actually, for the Minors, your participation is necessary.  For the Majors, we encourage parents to participate by volunteering on their child's registration form.  However, this is not required.  Anyone is welcome to be sitting along the side of the field.  Bring a chair to sit in or a blanket to sit on.

  • When do I pay the fee?  The fee is to be paid as soon as your online registration is complete by going to www.theg2glife.org/payment

  • Is there anything else for me to know? It is never too early for parents of athletes to begin educating themselves on concussions.  Valuable and insightful resources have been put together by the CDC.  They can be located at www.cdc.gov/headsup/youthsports/index.html
